Types of Selection:

  • Paper / Academic selection: Selection is done on the academic achievement of Gr 11 or Gr 12 marks and the best candidates are selected. Average performance is also taken into account.

    • Non-selection courses: 30 September 2024
    • Please take note that some of the non-selection programmes have already reached capacity. The online applications for these programmes have closed.
      • If a programme has reached capacity, applicants will receive a message that the application period has expired
      • A-candidates (applicants with 5 and more A symbols) can complete the PDF application form and email it to applicationsug@nwu.ac.za.
      • Only applications by A-candidates sent to the specified email address will be considered. Applications received via post will not be considered.
      • The closing date for non-selection programmes with available capacity is 30 September.
