    Payment Policy

    • The financial policy of the College is that all fees must be paid in full prior to writing of the final examinations.

    Tuition fees should be paid as specified:

    Ehlanzeni TVET College has six campuses namely Mlumati , Nelspruit, Mthimba,  Mapulaneng,  Barberton and Kanyamazane Campus

    Ehlanzeni TVET College is striving towards excellence in education and training. The purpose of Ehlanzeni TVET College is to provide program-based vocational and occupationa training within the further education and training band in order to respond to the human resource, eceonomic and development needs of South Africa. The College inherited campuses, which were almost dysfunctional and dilapidated with the exception of Nelspruit. It is worth mentioning that the situation has been addressed and the campuses now have students and renovations have been completed.

    Additional facilities are being constructed and improvements done in other sites. The recapitalization program has been embarked upon which will further improve the teaching, learning and facilitation conditions. The recap program focuses on the development of infrastructure, Human resource, business systems and procedures and purchase of LTSM and workshop equipment.

    Intake for post-basic programmes

    Post-basic specialist programmes

    Registered nurses (RNs) and enrolled nurses (ENs) can further their careers by specialising in post-basic fields of healthcare by means of in-service certificate programmes or post-basic diploma programmes.

    In-service certificate programmes provides the minimum skills for safe practise in a specialised unit. Post-basic diploma programmes are aimed at developing advanced intellectual and clinical competence in selected fields of interest, qualifying those who successfully complete a programme to work as a leader, consultant, educator or specialist practitioner in providing evidence-based care to patients, together with other team members, within the scope of practice.

    Netcare Education’s holistic and integrated approach to education and training combines theory with workplace based experiential learning in hospitals. Integrated training is provided in applied anatomy and physiology, disease entities, applied pharmacology, nursing diagnosis, and treatment of patients, with additional components covering research, administration, teaching and applied nursing dynamics.

    Qualification admission requirements

    Your admission to Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
    A Higher Certificate in Accounting Sciences, or its equivalent, on condition that pre- or co-requisites or their equivalents have been met, and any NQF level 6 Diploma/NQF level 7 Degree.
    Applicants may be required to register for one or two additional modules (depending on co-requisites) concurrently with the modules in the syllabi.

    • You must accept or decline Unisa’s offer within the prescribed period of time.
    • If you accept Unisa’s offer, you must register for the period for which you have been granted admission (ie semester 1 or semester 2). Should you not register for the relevant semester of study, you will need to re-apply for admission during the next application period.

    Unisa has an agreement with various Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges to offer classes in a selected number of qualifications. These classes have proved to generally improve the throughput rate of students who enrol for them.

    Application Fees

    The application fees vary depending on whether you intend to start studying in January or July

    • Local students pay a non-refundable application fee of R200.  Students applying and/or paying from 01 November must pay the late application fee and will be charged at R400. The single application fee of R200 allows you to apply for 6 programmes, or to six institutions in KZN, including UNIZULU, DUT,  MUT, UKZN, Umfolozi TVET College, Elangeni TVET College, Majuba TVET College, and 13 Private Colleges in KZN.
    • International students pay a general, non-refundable application fee of R250, and in the case of a late application, R500.

    Methods of Payment: 

    • Using your unique EasyPay number on your application form you can pay at any EasyPay outlet, eg. Checkers, Shoprite, Pick N Pay, etc. or by Postal Order, or by credit card on the CAO website
    • Postal Orders must be made payable to: Central Applications Office

    After you have been successfully accepted, you need to pay the minimum initial registration deposit 4 days before registration (the banking details are the same as above).

    Students need to submit the following documents with their application:

    Current Grade 12  learners must ensure that their Final Grade 11 examination results are submitted as soon as they apply and that their Grade 12 mid-year and September examination results  are submitted as soon as they become available.. Failure to do such may result in delays within the student’s application process. You might find that you applied early in Grade 12 and thus only sent in your final Grade 11 results. If this is true, as the year progresses and you receive more results keep sending them through to UNIZULU, that way they will have all your results by the time finals come around.

    Transferring students should too ensure that all transcripts and academic records are submitted as early as possible as well as that a final transcript of current studies being undertaken reaches the Admissions Office as soon as possible after receipt.
